I have checked into RAM and lately I am noticing an increase in usage, but I don't know where it's coming from. SecondLife very rarely even gets into 60c and I have played games where it's been 85c (in the past on this comp) with little issue. In all of these crashes as far as I can tell the computer is not hot. It tends to crash playing SecondLife, using the Firestorm viewer. (Updated: ran it again, let it run to 80c, no crashes or anything)
I ran FurMark after the last crash and stopped it when it got to 76C but the fans sounded fine, the computer didn't crash. I have had this computer since last April, approximately. In addition to this, approximately 3 times in the past, the screen goes black and the computer spontaneously restarts. The only difference in this time is when the screen just suddenly went black and I could hear relatively okay but no screen and I tried to talk on VC and my friends told me it sounded really garbled. No amount of wiggling the monitor cable works. The lights stay on but the monitor says it has lost the signal. I might here buzzing in my headphones and then the screen goes black.
The computer will usually suddenly freeze. I never find any errors in the event viewer. I have already tried searching my problem but feel it would be better to ask someone directly so I can say what I've tried.įar too often, at least three- four times, I have had my computer screen suddenly go black. I am now posting this just about anywhere I can think of, as it seems very hard to get an answer.
